Another exciting “leak” from San Diego Comic-Con – a first look at Suicide Squad.
The movie is about a group of supervillains who are given a secret government mission that will likely lead to their deaths. The first part of this trailer explains it pretty well– the government needs something done, it’s highly risky, and sending supervillains means that they can deflect the blame should anything go wrong. The real question is, how is the suicide squad being controlled? Viola Davis’s character says it’s her job to make people do things against their own wills, but I’m a little scared to find out about that.
Notable characters are the Joker (Jared Leto), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), and of course Batman (Ben Affleck). Everyone looks great already, Margot Robbie looks like she’s gonna kill it as the deranged Harley Quinn.
The highly anticipated movie has a release date of August 5, 2016.
