After bringing the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team to her New Jersey Metlife Stadium concert on Saturday, Taylor Swift again surprised her fans in Washington D.C.’s Nationals Park.
On Monday, Taylor invited best friend Lorde to the stage, where the pair performed a duet to the delight of numerous fans. The pair sang Lorde’s Royals together as part of Taylor’s 1989 World Tour.
Taylor told fans, ““This is one of my best friends in the entire world.”

Later, Taylor’s stage set experienced a malfunction. Taylor was left on a broken moving platform. She described, “They just told me in my ear that I might be stuck up here forever.”
Taylor took the malfunction lightheartedly, telling fans, “I’ll just be here, forever. Stuck up here, unless I choose to jump down. But in the meantime, I’m gonna sing a song for you, called Clean.”
Taylor’s graceful transition and beautiful concert delighted all her fans. With one more concert in D.C., who knows who she’ll bring tonight?
