Despite many protests and Ben Carson’s disapproval, GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump appeared on Saturday Night Live yesterday, giving the show its biggest ratings since 2012.
SNL had a 6.6 household rating, Entertainment Weekly reported. The previous high of this season was held by the episode hosted by Miley Cyrus featuring Hillary Clinton.
Trump’s overnight rating was 47 percent higher than the Miley/Hillary episode.
A Jan. 7, 2012, episode hosted by Charles Barkley is still tops the SNL ratings.
