Carson not interested in SNL

GOP 2nd-to-Donald-Trump Ben Carson has said that he is not interested in hosting or appearing on Saturday Night Live, something his counterparts Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have been doing. Trump is hosting on November 7th, and Hillary appeared alongside her doppelganger Kate McKinnon recently.

“I think the presidency of the United States is a very serious thing,” the retired neurosurgeon said during an interview with Bloomberg Politics.
“I don’t even want to begin to put it in the lightness of comedy,” Carson added in the interview for Bloomberg’s “With All Due Respect.”
Carson has also promised that he will not attack Trump or respond to personal attacks made by Donald Trump anymore. Instead, the retired neurosurgeon is vowing to focus on the issues.
Recently Carson has been facing heat over his comments regarding gun laws, including his remark that the Holocaust could have been prevented had the Jews been armed.
