Justin Trudeau gets his father’s PM desk

New Prime Minister of Canada, son of the beloved Pierre Trudeau, Justin Trudeau is making some changes to Canada and to his office.

He’s bringing some things back as well though, having had outgoing PM Stephen Harper’s desk dismantled and shipped to a government storage warehouse and replaced with the desk his father used years ago.

The desk was built around 1880 and was used by Pierre Trudeau and also former prime ministers Sir Wilfrid LaurierLester B. Pearson, Jean Chrétien and Paul Martin.

The following is a picture of the late Trudeau in 1973.
