Country music couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced today that their four year marriage has come to an end.

According to TMZ, Shelton filed for divorce some time ago in Okla. and the dissolution of marriage is being finalized today.

The couple has a prenuptial agreement which already has their financial agreements settled. Additionally, Shelton will keep the ranch in Okla. while Lambert will get their house in Nashville, Tenn., as well as her horses, a camel and llama from the ranch.

Although no official reason for the split has been confirmed, Us Weekly stated the couple once shared that they often struggle to find time for each other with their individual schedules.

“This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter,” said a rep for the couple in a statement to the Associated Press.

Shelton’s rep told Fox no further statements surrounding the divorce would be released.

The couple dated for five years after meeting on “CMT’s 100 Greatest Duets Concert” while singing “You’re the Reason God Made Oklahoma” together. Although Shelton was married to, now ex-wife, Kaynette Gern at the time, their relationship began shortly after Shelton’s first divorce in 2006.
