Adele’s 25 smashes records

Adele’s 25 came out on November 20, and has since surpassed records held by Britney Spears as well as N*SYNC.

The British artist’s album has sold over 3 million copies in the United States alone, according to Nielsen Music.

She beat Britney Spear’s record of 1.32 million for best single-week album sales by a female artist. Adele proceeded to crush N*SYNC’s 2.42 million record held by No Strings Attached in 2000.

The record is Adele’s third studio album, featuring single “Hello”.
