On Friday Republican frontrunner Donald Trump ripped on longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin, mocking her marriage to former Rep. Anthony Weiner.
Trump called Weiner a “perv” and a “sleazebag”.
According to the Hill:
Speaking to donors in Boston, The GOP presidential front-runner noted that Abedin — whose first name he repeatedly pronounced “Ooma” — has worked closely with Clinton and would have access to classified information.
“And who is Huma married to?” Trump asked. “One of the great sleazebags of our time, Anthony Weiner.”
“And he was a bad guy then; it turns out that he was a really bad guy,” he added.“So Huma is getting classified secrets,” Trump said. “She’s married to Anthony Wiener, who’s a perv. No, he is!”“Do you think there’s even a five percent chance that she’s not telling Anthony Weiner … what the hell is coming across?”
Despite Trump’s claim that he knew Weiner was a bad guy then, he donated $2,000 to Weiner’s campaign in 2010.
