“The Splat is coming”: Nickelodeon dedicates channel to ’90’s Cartoons

Ready for Saturday morning nostalgia, 24-7?

At this year’s 90’s Fest (September 12 in Brooklyn), Nick made the announcement of a new channel debut: The Splat.

It will feature all 90s cartoons.

Nickelodeon’s President of Content and Development, Russell Hicks, said that the team was “looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way.”

Among the hopeful entrees are;

RugratsAaahh!!! Real Monsters, Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold!, Rocko’s Modern Life,Rocket Power, CatDog, and The Wild Thornberries.

But of course, it’s not limited to these classics.

A release date has to be confirmed.
