The Paradigm Research Group has been trying for the last twenty years to get the government in general, and the sitting president at the time in particular, to release as much classified UFO documentation that the government has. The group, like so many others, seems to think that the truth about UFO’s and extraterrestrial races can only be validated if the United States government says so.
The executive director of Paradigm, Steve Basset, commented, rather melodramatically recently, that, “This will be a reality this year and across the front pages of newspapers across the world. The most significant news story ever broken.”
Recently, the CIA released some previously classified information and data about UFO’s from the 1950’s. Basset firmly believes that President Obama will, finally, be the one to release all of the information being held by the American government. In addition, Basset has received confirmation from Hillary Clinton that, if elected, she will release what they government knows.
She said her campaign director has, “made me personally pledge we are going to get the information out. One way or another. Maybe we could have, like, a task force to go to Area 51.”
Even her husband, former President Bill Clinton, has said that he would let Americans know if we have been contacted by extraterrestrials. Of course, many others are just considering the sources of these comments and just shaking their heads.
Both President Reagan and President Carter had direct contact with UFO’s both having actually seen one in flight. Carter was so obsessed about them that he demanded to know what was going on when he was president. The CIA director at that time, George Bush the Elder, kept keeping Carter at arms length until he finally gave in. Reports are that after Carter received his briefing on UFO’s and extraterrestrial races and contact, he was so shaken by it that he never brought up the subject again and all of his bluster about releasing material never materialized.
The truth, of course, is out there and has been for many decades. The subject isn’t exactly a secret and many reputable researchers and organizations have published information concerning the extraterrestrial situation on Earth. But most people still believe that the United States government is the only source who can reveal the truth. Basset continues to cling to the hope that Obama will authorize the release of classified government material before he leaves office.
