Despite David Nutter (director of the season 5 finale) assuring everyone, including President Obama, that Jon Snow is “deader than dead”, the actor who plays the bastard of Winterfell still showed up in Belfast just in time for the shooting of Season 6. Kit Harington was spotted flying into Belfast, on the same flight as actor Tom Wlaschiha who play(s? ed? Game of Thrones is complicated ok) faceless assassin Jacquen H’ghar.

Fans have been doubting Snow’s death since the moment it aired, considering the importance the character plays to the plotline, as well as the timely arrival of Red Priestess Melisandre at Castle Black.
Popular Game of Thrones fan website Watchers on the Wall noted:
Is it possible Harington is there to simply film a funeral/play a dead body? Technically. But considering how many visits he’s had to Belfast in the past couple months of pre-production, I find it very difficult to believe. Harington has also refused to take photos with any fans in Belfast recently, according to several Twitter mentions.
