Justin Bieber tops Billboard Artist 100

For the first time, Justin Bieber is topping the Billboard Artist 100, in his 71st week on this list.

According to Billboard:

The Artist 100 (which launched in July 2014) measures artist activity acrossBillboard‘s most influential charts, including the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, Top Album Sales and the Social 50. The Artist 100 blends data measuring album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

With the release of his new album Purpose, Justin has been rising in popularity, with singles “Sorry”, “What do you mean”, and “Where are u now” already all over the radio.

One Direction’s album Made in the A.M. was also released Nov. 13 and will be battling for the title.
