Jeb Bush out of presidential race

Former governor of Florida Jeb Bush has dropped out of the presidential race.

The decision to suspend his campaign comes after a string of underwhelming performances and an overall lukewarm campaign.

Originally touted as the establishment candidate with the right resume, name, and reputation, Jeb was quickly drowned out by the louder voices of Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.

“In this campaign I have stood my ground, refusing to bend to the political winds,” Bush said on Saturday night, with South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham standing by his side.

Fellow Floridian Senator Marco Rubio said that Jeb Bush was the “greatest governor in the history of Florida”.

Ohio governor John Kasich tweeted “@JebBush fought hard every day. He was a great governor and is a great man. -John”.
