Christian charity director steals half million to fuel sex addiction; Florida woman steals sex toys at Walmart

BY KEVIN SAWYER… Just when you may have decided that you have heard it all, along comes something a bit more bizarre. Jon Petersen, 55, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa was the directory of a local Christian charity. He has been accused of stealing $475,000 to help fund his ongoing sex addictions. The director of World Ambassadors Ltd. pleaded guilty in open court to the embezzlement and the theft.

What ended up tipping off law enforcement and other authorities was that Petersen failed to claim $114,000 of the stolen money on his 2013 tax return. He didn’t claim it as taxable income and the paper trail of him transferring the charity’s money into his own personal bank accounts didn’t seem to be a secret.

It has not been revealed what type and manner of sexual addiction Petersen has but speculation is that it is serious and profound and will, likely come out at his trial. It is so severe, some speculate, because not only did he steal nearly half a million dollars but he has enormous credit card debt and he maxed out a home equity line on his home.

She stole the sex toys because she, claims, she was “too lazy”

Theresa Pine, 25, of Saint Petersburg, Florida, was arrested in the local Walmart after stealing some lubricant and a couple of sex toys from the shelves. She was arrested for shoplifting and for possession of both Dilaudid and marijuana. She went free when a bond of $4,250 was posted for her.

Police were rather confused about her because she actually paid for some separate items she picked up at the WalMart. She told the police that she didn’t pay for the lubricant and the sex toys because she was “just too lazy” to do so. Too lazy? She was right there at the register paying for her other stuff.

She failed to pay for a vibrating penis ring, a vibrating “massager” and some arousal jelly and lubricant.
