On Friday, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump commented on Chelsea Clinton’s speech at the DNC about her mother, saying, “I thought Chelsea did a nice job. You know, Chelsea likes Ivanka and Ivanka likes Chelsea,” Trump said at a Denver rally Friday, referring to Chelsea Clinton’s convention speech Thursday. “I wish they didn’t like each other, but they do.”
The two women have been friends since before their parents’ presidential campaigns, and Trump says they’ve remained on good terms with each other.
“It’s easier if they don’t like each other. You would think that relationship would be strained, but they like each other,” Trump said Friday.
