Larry David on SNL as Bernie Sanders

Larry David stopped by Saturday Night Live yesterday to appear in the cold open mocking of Tuesday’s Democratic Debate as candidate Bernie Sanders from Vermont.

The “Seinfield” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” creator exaggerated the Senator’s fiery calls for revolution and disdain for Washington insiders. He starred alongside Kate McKinnon’s signature crazy-eyed Hillary Clinton, Taran Killam’s just happy to be here Martin O’Malley, Alec Baldwin’s Jim Webb, and Kyle Mooney’s Lincoln Chafee.

The real candidate responded today, saying: “I think we’ll use Larry on our next rally,” Sanders said Sunday morning on ABC’s “This Week.” “He does [me] better than I do.”
