J.K. Rowling says Trump is worse than Voldemort

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has weighed in on the recent controversy and disgust surrounding GOP frontrunner Donald Trump following his comments on banning all Muslim entry into the United States.

“How horrible,” she tweeted of Trump. “Voldemort was nowhere near as bad.”

Trump has been urging a complete banning of Islamic individuals.

“Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life,” he said in a campaign statement.

The plan is drawing widespread criticism from both sides.

“This is reprehensive, prejudiced and divisive,” Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton tweeted Monday night.

“@RealDonaldTrump, you don’t get it,” she added. “This makes us less safe.”

“This is not who we are as a party or a country,” Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) reportedly said in Washington, D.C., Tuesday morning.
