Following the box office flop of Fox’s new Fantastic Four movie (starring Miles Teller and Kate Mara), fans have begun petitioning for Fox to sell the rights to the Fantastic Four franchise back to Marvel studios.
Fox is already planning on a Fantastic Four 2 movie for 2017, but fans are pushing for the studio to return the rights to Marvel rather than fail again.
Though this move is unlikely, it is possible that Fox will attempt to partner with Marvel, not unlike how Sony did with Spiderman earlier this year.
Marvel has seen stunning success recently with Guardians of the Galaxy, the Avengers franchise, and XMen.
